Susan K. Gardner is Assistant Professor of Higher Education at the University in Maine in Orono, Maine. Her research concerns doctoral student socialization, development, and success. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Maine, she was Assistant Professor of Higher Education at Louisiana State University.
