Abstract
The present investigation reports the determination of viscoelastic behavior and the relaxation distribution function of polyhydroxyether (PHE) over an extended time scale by reducing the stress-strain curves to the unit strain rate followed by their shifts to a reference temperature along a line of unit slope. The polyhydroxyether was synthesized from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. The stress-strain measurements were carried out at different temperatures and at different strain rates using solution-cast films of PHE and the Instron tensile testing machine.
