Abstract
The design of a dedicated station for time-resolved small-angle x-ray scattering/ wide-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS/WAXS) experiments on a bending magnet beamline at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) is used as an example of a versatile beamline suitable for polymer work. Although it has a relatively moderate x-ray flux, it is well suited for complicated experiments in which several experimental techniques are combined in a single experiment. Some experiments for which this beamline has been designed are discussed.
