ABSTRACT
The objective of this paper is to present a logical and systematic analysis of the economic and energy utilization factors that should be reviewed when an organization decides to consider the use of microwave energy for industrial applications.
This will be accomplished by first presenting background material concerning the adoption rate of microwave energy, an argument about energy consumption, and a discussion of industrial processes and industries using ?hese processes. The economic factors that should be reviewed are then introduced and finally a model is developed.
