A new species and new records of the subgenus Typhlodromus Scheuten from Spain, with a key to the world species (Acari: Phytoseiidae)

Abstract

A new mite species of the family Phytoseiidae (Acari: Mesostigmata), Typhlodromus (Typhlodromus) thuriferus sp. nov. collected from the Cupressaceae Juniperus thurifera in Spain is described. Three species of the same subgenus, new records for Spain, are also included. A key to all the species of this subgenus is given.
