Abstract
The following new species are described: Fam. Bdellidae: Cyta phaseoli, Biscirus macfarlanei, Bdella neograndjeani and B. thori. Cunaxa setirostris (Hermann) (Cunaxidae) is described and for the first time recorded from South Africa. Descriptions of Odontoscirus virgulatus (Can. & Fanz.), Bdellodes hessei (Wom.) and B. exilicornis (Berl.) are also given. Keys to determine the known genera and species of Cunaxoidea associated with South African plants are given.
