Skylonia mirabilis gen. et sp, nov., A Problematical fossil from the Miocene of Kenya

Abstract

A spindle-shaped organism. Skylonia mirabilis gen. et sp. nov., is described from the Miocene of Kenya. Its structure is shown to differ from that of spicules of oetoeorals and from that of Polyzoa. Its biological position is doubtful.
