Rediscovery of Epomophorus pousarguesi Trouessart, 1904 in the Central African Empire (Mammalia, Megachiroptera)

Summary

Three recently collected specimens of the fruit bat Epomophorus pousarguesi Trouessart, 1904, hitherto only known from the type specimen, are described. In the author's view they confirm the specific status of the taxon; the type locality and distinguishing characters of the species are discussed.
