Abstract
A celleporid bryozoan Psuedocelleporina triplex gen. et sp. nov. of the family Celleporidae is described from Hokkaido, northern Japan. The new species clearly differs from the members of the related genus Celleporina in having non-tabulated ooecia and a distinct triad type of ancestrula, which is different from that of any other known bryozoan.
