The larval development of Petalomera japonica (Henderson) (Decapoda, Dromiidae) reared in the laboratory

Abstract

The complete larval development of Petalomera japonica (Henderson) is described, based on laboratory rearing. The species has two zoeal stages and a megalopa. Detailed comparisons are made with other dromiid larvae, particularly those of Petalomera wilsoni.
