Abstract
The endemic Australian genus Doddosia Edwards is redescribed and diagnosed. Five species are recognised; picta Edwards is redescribed and four: D. procax, D. lurida, D. torresiana and D. collessi are described as new. A key to species is presented and wings and genitalia are illustrated. The relationships of the genus to other lomatiine genera are discussed and a cladogram of Doddosia species is presented. New records extend the distribution of the genus westwards across northern Australia.
