Abstract
The larvae and pupa of Johannica gemellata (Westwood), and the larvae of two species of Lamprolina Baly and one species of Chalcolampra Blanchard are described. The relationships of these Chrysomelinae to each other and to other members of this subfamily are discussed. Lamprolina Baly and Promechus Boisduval are recognised as sister genera related to Johannica Blackburn and Chalcolampra in the subtribe Phyllocharina. It is proposed that the subtribe Chrysolinina is not represented in Australia by indigenous taxa.
