New species of Anchimolgus (Copepoda: Poecilostomatoida: Lichomolgidae) associated with the scleractinian coral Goniopora in the southwest Pacific

Abstract

Four new species of the lichomolgid genus Anchimolgus, associated with the scleractinian coral Goniopora in the Moluccas, are described. They are Anchimolgus conformatus sp. nov. from Goniopora sp. at Banda, Anchimolgus mimeticus sp. nov. from Goniopora sp. and Goniopora sp. cf. tenuidens at Banda and from Goniopora pedunculata at Karang Mie in eastern Halmahera, and Anchimolgus gigas sp. nov. and A. breviarius sp. nov. from Goniopora stokesi at Banda.
