Three new species of Holonothrus from the Neotropical region (Acari: Oribatida)

Abstract

Three new crotoniid oribatid mites, Holonothrus nortoni sp. n., H. venetiolanus sp. n., and H. artus sp. n. are described from specimens collected in Dominica, Venezuela and Chile. These represent the first species of the genus Holonothrus to be described from the Western Hemisphere.
