Abstract
Photon spectra and biological dose rates were measured inside an ITER-shield mock-up for cooling times between 2 hours and 20 days following a 30 h irradiation with 14 MeV neutrons. In a low beam current run the neutron flux in the mock-up was also measured to estimate the source term for the activation calculation. The experiment was analysed by means of Monte Carlo calculations with the MCNP transport code and the FISPACT fusion inventory code using cross section data from the Fusion Evaluated Nuclear Data Library (FENDL-2/MC and FENDL-2/A).
