Analysis for Spallation Neutron Source Induced from Proton Incident with Energy of 150 MeV

Abstract

The Analysis on spallation neutron source for ADS proton-induced with energy 150MeV and beam current 3mA is performed. The physics properties of the target concerned by this work including the neutron yield, energy and space distribution for the neutrons leaked from the target, the spallation fragment of charge and mass distribution have been investigated by using SHIELD code. The analysis of the radiation damage and the energy deposit for the target are also carried out.
