Status of the Database for Production of Medical Radioisotopes of ¹⁰³ Pd ^{123, 124}I, ²⁰¹TI by Using Rh, Te and Tl Targets.

Abstract

Databases for production of ¹⁰³Pd, ²⁰¹T1 radioisotopes and medical radioisotopes of iodine are presented including about 50 excitation functions for the main production routes and for disturbing reactions. The status of the experimental data is reviewed. The compilation is illustrated on the ¹⁰³Rh(p, n)¹⁰³Rh reaction. The application of the database on the production of ¹²³I using a deuteron beam and enriched ¹²²Te targets results in computation of practical production yields and impurity levels.
