Abstract
The determination of the sulphur in the silver bromide grains of a photographic emulsion shows that the sulphur contents are several times greater than that corresponding to the gelatin adsorbed to the grains. The significance of the sulphur atom for the occurrence of effective chemisorption is indicated.
