Abstract
This report describes a series of experiments designed to determine the magnitude of the effects on the printing area of half-tones of some of the many variables encountered in deep-etch plate making. Graphs and tables are given showing the effect on printing area of exposure time, development time, etching time and changes in relative humidity and temperature.
