Abstract
Comparison of recent views on colour reproduction theory with its now clossical aspects shows that theoretically deduced filter requirements are not necessarily of absolute validity. Empirical filter determinations are discussed and examples of the effects of filter set variations are given in some practically occuring instances of process reproduction.
