Abstract
An account is given of the construction and uses of home-made film packs suitable for mounting on the fingertips of persons who handle radioactive sources or palpate patients during X-ray fluoroscopic procedures, etc. Various types of film, cut to I cm squares, have been used in these light-tight, waterproof packages. The calibration and interpretation of films exposed to various types and qualities of ionizing radiation are discussed and some examples are given of typical results obtained.
