Abstract
This paper describes the ways in which photographic methods have been used in the Harwell studies of two-phose (gas/liquid) flow. The uses of photographic methods in determining the regime of flow and in providing qualitative and quantitative data on the phenomena in one of the regimes (annular flow) are discussed.
