Pages 312-318 | Received 15 Apr 1964, Published online: 23 Jul 2016

Abstract

The increasing scale and complexity of routine personnel monitoring work has introduced the need for automation. This paper reviews the current progress in the automation of the measurement of density of monitoring films and of the counting of recoil protons in nuclear emulsions used for fast neutron monitoring. Other aspects of automation in this field are covered briefly.
