Raw Chemicals for ProcessingFootnote

Abstract

Improvements in photographic processes have shown the need for recognised standards of purity for the processing chemicals. The basic principles of the British Standards for photographic chemicals are discussed together with some notes on stability and storage. The importance of water supplies, plumbing and the use of correct equipment during the preparation of processing solutions is also discussed.
