Abstract
The influence of phenylmercaptotetrazole and other development retarders on the Agfacolor reversal process was investigated. Retarding effects were found to depend on the solubility of the silver salt of the retarding compounds, and on the level of exposure. From the results obtained, some evidence is derived concerning the mode of action of retarders.
