Pages 108-111 | Received 16 Apr 1971, Published online: 23 Jul 2016

Abstract

Improvements in the composition of cellulose nitrate as a detector of alpha particles and certain fission products are presented. Methods of contact printing from the exposed and etched cellulose sheets are described and the use of this new plastic material for neutron radiography and radiation dosimetry are discussed.
