The Validity of the Gibbs-Thomson Equation for Latent-Image Centres

Abstract

Studies of the bleaching of latent images by redox buffers show that the Gibbs-Thomson equation, relating the excess energy of small silver particles to their size, is valid down to the smallest latent image centres.
