Abstract
A five minute monobath suitable for developing and fixing Kodak 649-F spectroscopic plates often used in holographic interferometry is described. A holograph was exposed, developed and fixed in a wet plate holder and holographic interferograms of an operating electrolysis cell produced by recording on video tape. The bath uses thioglycerol in potassium hydroxide and gives no silvering of the plate holder.
