Abstract

Latent-image fading and the anti-fading action of different gelatin, gelatin fragment. amino acid and other addition agent were inve tigated in AgBr hydrosols. Quite mall fragment and even individual amino acid uch a glycin were quite ffective antifader. These agent also caused photographIc ensitization. Both sen itization and anti-fading action were accounted for by the same mechanism: the tabilization of latent-image centre or ub-centres. being more effective the smaller the centre.
