High Speed Holocinematography with the Multiply Cavity–Dumped Argon-Ion Laser

Abstract

Ahigh power multiply cavity-dumped argon-ion laser is used as an illuminating light source for recording hologram series at framing rates up to 25 kHz. For separating successively recorded holograms spatial multiplexing techniques are applied by rotating the holographic plate.

Un laser à argon ionisé de grande puissance à décharges répétitives est utilisé comme source lumineuse pour enregistrer une série d’hologrammes à une fréquence atteignant 25 kHz. Des techniques de multiplexage spatial mettant en oeuvre la rotation de la plaque holographique permettent de séparer les hologrammes enregistrés Successivement.

Zusammenfassung

Ein “multiple cavity-dumped” Hochleistungs-Argon-Ionen-Laser wird als Lichtquelle zur Aufzeichnung von Hologramm-Serien mit Bildaufzeichnungsfrequenzen bis zu 25kHz verwendet. Zur Trennung aufeinanderfolgender Hologramme werden räumliche Multiplex Techniken benutzt (Verdrehen der holografischen Aufzeichnungsplatte).

Riassunto

E’ stato usato un laser a ioni impulsato a cavità smorzata di alta potenza come sorgente luminosa per registrare una serie di ologrammi con una velocità de riprese fino a 25 kHz. Per separare gli ologrammi registrati in successione sono state applicate tecniche multiplexing ruotando la lastra olografica.
