Abstract
A review of laser exposing equipment currently used by the printing industry in the U.K. is presented. The important features of laser exposure for photosensitive imaging systems are summarized. The various image forming systems which are commercially available for laser exposure are described and reviewed. Finally, the combinations of various lasers and photosensitive systems used in commercial equipment are discussed.
