ABSTACT
Chromatographic data are presented for fourteen developing agents in two solvent systems. By means of examination of the chromatogram with ultra-violet radiation and use of specific spray reagents each developing agent may be positively identified. The importance of the sample preparation in the production of easily interpreted paper chromatograms is illustrated by the analysis of a sample of used Kodak D76 developer.
