Abstract
A study has been made of the effect of deformation on the D/log rel E curve in the solarization region for an emulsion having the property that, in the undeformed condition, its solarization response is practically independent of digestion time. In general, deformation increases D for a given exposure and the results are discussed in terms of the expected dislocation distribution produced by deformation.
