Abstract
The Lippman colour photography process is discussed. A brief history of the Lippmann process is given. A number of interesting features of the process are discussed. Special attention is paid to the colour reproduction characteristics of the process. Finally, a number of historical references are considered and samples of Lippmalnn photographs are discussed and reproduced.
