Abstract
Wide angle (WAXS) and small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) studies were performed on the structural changes in a recording dichromated gelatin (DCG) layer produced by exposure and development. The phase diagram of the system gelatin-water-isopropanol was determined. The data obtained enable volume hologram recording to be related to photocrosslink concentration- modulated microphase separation in a water-swollen DCG layer developed with isopropanol.
