Abstract

A model is proposed for calculating sensitometric characteristics of X-ray photographic materials exposed by light from luminescent amplifying screens. It is based on the use of a two-flux approximation for the light regime in the photolayers and contains parameters characterizing the system of luminescent screens-photographic material. The calculations show that the model correctly describes changes in sensitometric characteristics of a photographic material caused by a change in the light efficiency of the screen, emulsion mass and other parameters. The model can be used for optimizing the characteristics of the photomaterial - amplifying screens complex and forecasting the sensitometric properties of such systems.
