Rorschach Comprehensive System Data for a Sample of 111 Adult Nonpatients From Romania

Pages S142-S148 | Received 22 Jan 2007, Published online: 05 Dec 2007

Abstract

In this study Rorschach data from a Romanian sample of 111 respondents was collected and analyzed in a first attempt to establish national norms. The protocols were collected in a 5-year period (2002–2006) by the author. Interrater reliability statistics are presented for a sample of 20 cases, along with scores for the Rorschach Comprehensive System (CS; Exner, 1993). These results can be used for cross-cultural comparisons of the CS.

The author thanks Dr. Greg Meyer for his invaluable help in writing this article. Also, the author thanks Laura Lazurca, Anca Preda, Oana Sandovici, Nusa Trandafir, and Sinziana Burcea for their assistance in evaluating the interrater reliability.

2For this analysis, SES was used as a dimensional variable where participants with lower SES received 1 point, participants with middle SES received 2 points, and participants with higher SES received 3 points.

*Mean.

**Percentage of people.

3For both the Shaffer–Erdberg–Haroian sample and the Portuguese sample, PureF% was estimated by dividing the average number of F by the average number of responses (R).
