Distributing Goods: A Replication with A Computer-Controlled Procedure

Abstract

We replicated part of an experiment conducted in the usual way by using a computer-controlled procedure and obtained essentially similar results, indicating that a computer-controlled experiment is a feasible alternative for a traditional experiment. Some advantages and disadvantages of computer-controlled experiments are briefly discussed.
