The author regrets that two errors were missed in the original review. The corrected text is reproduced below:

  1. The first part of the sentence »Ephemeral events don't lend themselves to the retrospective treatment […]« is a direct quote from Rachel Wolff's review of the same exhibition, available at: http://nymag.com/arts/art/features/happenings-lucas-samaras-2012-2/. This source should have been quoted in the original text.

  2. The following two sentences were not referenced in the original text.

»He did not want subsequent incarnations of Happenings to simply recreate the photographs of their of the initial environment.«

»Without these photographs, Happenings would not have achieved their status as important and seemingly familiar performances.«

The missing reference is Martha Buskirk, Creative Enterprise: Contemporary Art Between Museum and Marketplace, Continuum, New York, 2012.
