Abstract

For many years, college administrators involved in the admission process have relied heavily on standardized test scores when determining student admissability. Because of the record numbers of students seeking admission to engineering schools, the emphasis on ACT or SAT scores is particularly strong. The purpose of this study was to determine whether such emphasis on these standardized tests was justified for one engineering school.
