Abstract

Electron diffraction from liquid crystalline polymers with direct connection of mesogenic side groups to main chain has been investigated. The polymers exhibit crystalline phase as local inclusions which form by crystallization of macromolecule fragments. The content of the crystalline phase is about 2%.
