Abstract

Viscosity coefficients analogous to the Miesowiez viscosities η₁, η₂, η₃ and to the Leslie coefficients γ₁ and γ₂ are determined for an oriented nematic discotic liquid crystal in molecular dynamics computer simulations and compared with theoretical calculations.
