Abstract

This communication reports our studies on the solid state reactivity of 4-ethoxy-2-phenyl-1, 3-thiazin-6-one 1 with vapor of N, N-dimethylamine. The anisotropic behaviour of the reaction process is rationalized by atom-atom potential energy calculations.
