Phase Diagrams and Solid State NMR Studies of Perhydrotriphenylene-Semifluorinated Hydro- carbon Inclusion Compounds

Abstract

The phase diagrams of mixtures of perhydrotriphenylene with linear hydrocarbons, fluorocarbons and semifluorinated compounds forming inclusion compounds, were established by DSC analysis. The results were interpreted within the framework of the regular solution theory. MAS NMR spectroscopy was applied to the inclusion compounds, giving a description of the mobility of the guests in the solid state.
