Abstract

Development of applied aspects of acoustooptic (AO) signal conversion theory in nematic liquid crystals1 (NLC) resulted in creation of a new family of the sensors operating on the common physical principle and capable to follow variations of a number of physical values: pressure P(t), vibrational velocities (linear ζ(t) and angular Ω(t), temperature fluctuations T(t).
