Abstract
A brief account is presented of the early work in the Quantum Theory Project (QTP) on the theory and application of the electron propagator to molecular problems. This work carried out in the research group of one of us (YÖ) was possible because of a group of talented graduate students over a period of about twenty years. In the final section we look at present day electron propagator developments which connect to these early years.
