We the authors regret that during our revision of the manuscript published as above a reference was omitted which should not have been. The purpose of this corrigendum is to clarify that a similar expression as presented in the Eqs. 32–40 of our paper has also been derived previously by Polyansky and Tennyson Citation1.
In addition, a typing error was found in the footnote of Table 2: correct is “M1: Δ(LCAO(FH) – Moss)”.
