Résonance magnétique nucléaire en phase nématique, étude de la géométrie du 2,5-dihydrofuranne

Abstract

Le spectre R.M.N. du 2,5-dihydrofuranne en solution dans une phase nématique (p-p′ (éthoxy-benzoxy)-phényl carbonate de butyle) est étudié à 240 MHz. L'interprétation des résultats montre que le cycle est plan et que la molécule appartient au groupe de symétrie C 2v . Les calculs permettent d'obtenir les rapports des distances internucléaires proton-proton, et à partir de là, les paramètres d'orientation moléculaire et les angles de liaison : la géométrie de la molécule peut ainsi être entièrement précisée.

The N.M.R. spectrum of 2,5-dihydrofuran in a liquid crystalline phase is studied at 240 MHz. The results confirm that the ring skeleton is planar and that the molecule retains its C 2v symmetry in the solution. Ratios of the proton-proton distances, bond angles and orientation parameters are obtained and discussed.
