Abstract
The influence of the WAHUHA-4 multipulse sequence on a system of dipolar coupled spin-1 nuclei each subject to a local electric field gradient in zero external magnetic field is studied. To interpret the experimental results the two equivalent spin-1 model is used, leading to results which reproduce the experimentally observed quasi steady-state of magnetization. Using a fictitious spin-1/2 formalism a theory is developed which provides a convenient description of the evolution of the density matrix of the model system during the pulsed N.Q.R. experiments. The experimental curves of spin echo envelopes obtained for a single crystal of NaNO2 are given and discussed.
