1 state of H2O prepared by a 193 nm excitation from the (000) or (001) vibrational states of the electronic ground state

1. Vibrational and rotational distributions of the dissociation fragment OH(X
2II) have been obtained and are in good agreement with experimental results and approximate quantum mechanical results.
